"Hi Commander! Hope you and the GMB are doing well these days! Thought I'd chime in on these stories and give you some ideas.
Batman II and Robin II suffered from one basic flaw; SOMEBODY had to be fooled and captured in every story so that the…"
"GREAT! I had such a good time participating, and even better one reading the answers!
I don't know if you noted relation, but question eight involves the size and color of Giant-Man and the Wasp's capsules. I know you have a bit of…"
"Hi Commander! I’m giving this one a whack this year, and as usual, going mostly from memory. So I have no doubts that I’ll be a long shot from the rear. But dang, I do love my comic trivia, and you’re just so sharp at it!
"Oops... another wrong Batwoman! :)
You might have a hard time getting me to admit that Wonder Girl was that much less powerful than Supergirl. Of course, Supergirl had a monthly adventure anyhow, plus helping Superman as necessary... she was…"
"Mr. Fraser - I agree with your assessment. Wonder Woman told the JLA about Wonder Girl, who passed on the story to their sidekicks. It's a great set up. The problem is the timing. I don't recall - but I'm sure Commander Adam and a few…"
"An article of keen analysis and great insight, as always, Commander. I know your love of the silver age JLA - I feel that mine is surpassed only by passion for the Legion of Super-Heroes - so it's good to see you digging into the best book, in…"
All I can say is "Aw, damn!" For weeks now, I've been meaning to state in a comment to one of my Deck Log articles how much I appreciate your unflagging support and your incisive commentary on my column. I kept putting it off because I never found the right place, or was too busy to add a comment, or any of the hundred of things we put off doing stuff we should.
Of all the members of this board, you were my most loyal reader, and compliment or criticism or just plain commentary, I always looked forward to seeing you post a comment. You're one of the Silver-Age experts who kept me on my toes.
So I shall miss your presence here, probably more than most. But it's your decision, friend. I don't stand in your shoes. Each of us has to determine what is right for himself and then act accordingly. I'd prefer you stay, but if you feel you have to go, then go with my blessing. And my regrets.
