In his autobiography That Ain't All Folks, Mel Blanc said he considered his greatest professional achievement to be his ability to sing on key in character.

It's a shame they don't make classics like these any more to screen before movies.

While they wouldn't help pay the bills, the toons would certainly be a lot more entertaining than all those endless commercials before they even start the previews and coming attractions.
