Too cool.  I couldn't listen to the audio while at work, but the visuals are cute!  Nice job, whoever...

I recognized Cap from the 40s serial, Commando Cody/King of the Rocketmen, the Amazing Colossal Man, the Wasp Woman, DianaRigg/Emma Peel and scenes from The Thing From Another World.

But where did "Thor", "Hawkeye" and "the Hulk" come from?

Thor is from Flash Gordon, I think, while Hulk looks like a Mexican movie.  Not sure on Hawkeye - it looks like another Republican serial, but not sure which one.

If you click the appropriate box at the end of the video you can watch an annotated version. It doesn't give away any details of it's film sources though. Pity.

I believe Thor is Hagan from Fritz Lang's Die Nibelungen. The guy playing Hawkeye looks like a silent film actor but don't know which one.

This looks so much better than the movie we actually got. I'd buy the blueray of this, and I don't have a blueray player.
