Bob Baker, creator of Doctor Who's K-9, and co-writer of Wallace and Gromit, has died.

Ah, what a shame.  Baker and his writing partner, Dave Martin, were known as "the Bristol Boys".  Together, they co-wrote "The Claws of Axos", "The Mutants", "The Three Doctors", "The Sontaran Experiment", "The Hand of Fear", "The Invisible Enemy", "Underworld",  and "The Armageddon Factor". The only Doctor Who story he wrote on his own was "Nightmare of Eden".  It's hard to overstate their impact on the show as the creators of Omega, K-9 and the Black Guardian..
