Colorectal cancer is one of the cancers that sneaks up, in that by the time you have any pain it is often too late. I colleague of mine at work was very lucky. One day he doubled over in pain. I don’t know what stage he was in, but they were able to remove the section of his intestines that had the tumor. They reconnected the intestines and he had a good life for decades after that. Another person I knew had a similar result. Both of these were years in the past and medicine has only improved since then.
I saw this as well. I wish him all of the best. I remember seeing him at a few shows, and he would always walk the floor and shop at dealers' tables. He was always very engaging.

Aye. As soon as we were confirmed that I had liver cancer, the Good Mrs. Benson did the research. If I had remained unware of my cancer until I had felt pain, or some other pronounced symptom, the most likely odds stated that, even with treatment, I would've been dead within four months.
