You can read more about the new show that is starting tomorrow night at the above link. It's the American version of a very, very popular Danish mystery program which has become quite a sensation in the UK.

Holly and I plan to watch and we'll talk about it here. For a comics link...a former Rocketeer (Billy Campbell) will be a featured player. ;)

Wow...that's a good theory.
A grim viewing, to be sure. The raw emotions were very believeable. I'm hoping that the political elements are not just a red herring! All this focus on the school distracts us from the fact that she was killed away from the school. So we have to see.

While I liked the teacher theory, I think the events in this episode made that a lot less likely.  Does it seem too obvious that the woman staffer is the leak?  I'm beginning to think that her jumping in to be the councilman's alibi was more about having her own alibi.  Could Rosie have found out something about her working for the mayor or something about the waterfront project?

Again, the scenes with the family are hard to watch, but amazingly acted.  The two brothers seem very real...not like a lot of TV kids.  It's a bit more of a hit since I have a daughter we call Rosie.

Yeah, I'm backing off the teacher theory. It seemed solid last week, this week not so much.

Another great episode this week. I might have liked it because it is building a strong case for my theory. Then again each episode could end making one character looking more guilty than the others. I will say that while he seems unconnected, the fiance' of the lead detective kinda gives off a creep vibe.

The family scenes were especially hard to watch this week. Picking out the coffin was awkward to me at least.

I think that Rose stumbled on some crime connection between her father's old friends and the mayor...something about that waterfront project.

Ooh, I like that. I'm starting to think her death was result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

With FBI involvement...it just became a lot more complicated.
And this has just been seven days.  Billy Campbell's character has had a murdered girl linked to his campaign, his signature afterschool program lost its funding, AND the woman who killed his wife in a drunk driving accident is getting out of jail...that is one hell of a week.
Is anybody still watching this? I want to see how it all ends but I'm getting frustrated with this.. The cops are appearing more inept and the Larsens are losing any sympathy from me.  I know they are going through a lot but taking the law in your own hands? That rarely goes well. I'm not sure why the police haven't gotten on TV and made the announcement for the public to butt out of the case. How many leaks are they going to have? Like I said, i'm in for the long haul and it's still a quality show. It just seems to be drifting from a solid mystery to soap opera.
I'm still watching, though I've only skimmed posts since I'm several weeks behind. The last episode I saw was the one where the detective found the love letters in the globe. I think I'm about a month behind.
Yeah, you've got some catching up to do?
