Bad Halloween Pun Countdown!

Hmmm.... puns..... Halloween.... As these are a few of my favorite things, I'm counting down with Halloween-themed AI-generated visual puns. They start, boys and ghouls, with the terrifically obvious and get (I think) more challenging. They might refer to classic monsters and figures of fear, famous horror movie or Gothic novel titles, figures of speech with monstrous elements.... A couple are just plain batty. One a day until the 31. As I've stated, the first few are very obvious, like this guy: 13028371296?profile=RESIZE_710x

      Next?

  • Shoot! I saw this and had the same guess, but decided to post my thoughts on The Art of the Amazing Spider-Man first.

  • Well, it might not be Death -- it could be Autumn. Evidently "Autumn Calling" is an LP by some band I don't know, and a traditional Irish folk jig. So it might be that.

    • Don't bang your head yet! Still open!

    • Yeah, I guess Death would have a scythe instead of a... whatever that is. A thresher?

  • It's still open, but I have nothing.

  • Halloween is in full swing, so I guess I get to claim the last one!

The answer is below this fun image of the Creature with a Blue Lagoon and, like him, I hope you're having a great and spooky time!

I'm surprised that the Baron didn't get the last one, since it was on his Halloween viewing list for this year!

    • I was just logging in to guess "Don't Fear the Reaper."

    • We've had a few little Reapers tonight. Near record warm temperatures. Great Halloween.

    • One year I gave out comic books and it was a HUGE hit!

I don't generally do anything in obsevance of Hallowe'en, but I am usually at least aware of it. One time back it the '90s it completely snuck up on me though. I worked nights and my seniority could only hold midweek days off, and Hallowe'en happend to fall on a Tuesday that year. That night I was sitting at home watching TV or reading comic books or whatever, when a knock came on the door. I couldn't imagine who it was, and when I answered the door I was greeted with a pack of trick or treaters. I was stuck for anthingthing to give them though, so in desperation I dropped individual packets of Lipton's Cup O'Soup in their bags.

We didn't have any last Halloweeners night, but I was prepared with little "to go" cups of Rudy's bar-b-que sauce, just in case.
