So -  I know I've only been here a week, but I thought I might be able to brighten up everyone's lives a little with a new thread devoted to comical cartoons based around superheroes. I have loads of funny material that I've picked up over the years. If anyone else would like to contribute please feel free to join in.

I'll start with some of my faves...

Thought that this one fitted in with the "A cover a day" month on another thread.

"Ceci n'est pas une pipe,"

With Bizarro Comics, it usually is a pipe hidden somewhere in the cartoon.  And an eyeball.  And a slice of pie.  And a stick of dynamite.  And an alien in a tiny flying saucer.  And I think that's the lot.

There's a slightly longer list of hidden symbols for Bizarro, although they're not consistently there. They include a crown and Olive Oyl (or "O2"), for example. A bunny, maybe?

I can't believe I missed this one from three months ago. Here's a larger image. When uploading images to Captain Comics the size can be controlled by entering the width in pixels in the "Width" box before clicking "OK". 400 or 600 are the most common, 600 being the maximum display width on the site. This one is 600.

Anyone who wants to see all of Mark Parisi's Off The Mark "Work-from-Home-Problems" gags should go to page 18 of this thread and go forward. I've lost count, but all of them to date have been posted..

Thanks, Richard. I've been loving them!
