There will be thirteen one-hour episodes, each being a full hour, not forty-five minutes. Netflix has been releasing entire seasons of their original programming on the same day and presumably they will do the same with Daredevil.
CAST:
Charlie Cox Matt Murdock/Daredevil
Deborah Ann Woll Karen Page
Elden Henson Foggy Nelson
Rosario Dawson Claire Temple
Vincent D'Onofrio Wilson Fisk/Kingpin
Scott Glenn Stick
Bob Gunton The Owl
Later Netflix productions will be Luke Cage, The Defenders, Iron Fist, and AKA Jessica Jones.

Excellent! I binge-watched this last week and loved it.
I'm just hoping the Owl comes into his own in this series. He was the Dare Devil villain prior to the Frank Miller days. He deserves his due.
This is a much better use for The Owl than his supervillain portrayal, I think.
Yes, but the character has some depth. He's a highly successful Wall Street Financier in his own right. The comic has implied a rivalry with the Kingpin from time to time; but, I don't think that was ever really fleshed out. This is an opportunity to do just that.

I had to abandon this discussion until I finished watching season one because it was getting a little spoilery, but I finished watching season one last night. Urich’s death came as a bit of a surprise, but I’m glad to see Daredevil in costume at last. Where are you, Rob? Still in season one? Or have you finished two by now?
”Vincent D'Onofrio is a world-class actor. The first time I saw him was in Full Metal Jacket.”
Oh, yeah! I haven’t seen that movie in years, but I can remember his scenes (and his “famous last words”) precisely.
