I miss goodguy Sandman, too. Whether he was with Silver Sable or on the Avengers for 5 minutes, it was an interesting evolution of the character. What sent him downt this path back to villainy? ANd are they going to kill Octavius AGAIN? (didn't he die in the 90's and get replaced by a female Doc Ock?)
I think the current version of Ock was cured of whatever it was that was killing him in Invincible Iron Man, but is still ugly as sin. And yeah, he was killed in the '90s and replaced by a distaff version, but it didn't stick and his "death" was explained away somehow.
