"Gravity" - Hot, Hit Movie

The wife and I saw "Gravity" in 2D over the weekend.

It's REALLY good...great special effects...you'll wonder how in the world they ever shot this with long on-going pans and tilts and slow movements.

I won't spoil any of it for you, but I urge you to get in your seat before the opening credit shows and listen carefully....sound editing and mixing is such a big part of this movie,  you'll want to strain your ears right from the start to catch little things that are said...cause they all come back again later.

Take one part "Apollo 13", one part "Alien", and one part "Towering Inferno" and "Poseidon Adventure"...

Who will survive and HOW do you "Escape from New York Outer Space?"

"In space, no one can hear you call for help...."

  • I saw it in 3-D and IMAX, even though I'm pretty wary of 3-D movies in general. But this was a fantastic, immersive experience -- I really enjoyed it that way. I'm hoping to see it again before it leaves theaters, because WOW.

  • See, guys... I told you so!
