1. How is the Coronavirus situation where you live? What's closed down? Have you gone out much? Are you (Oh, what's the trendy term now " Self-distancing "?) staying inside as a precaution or actually infected or is anyone else you know? I hope, if so, you're well. Let's...well, exchange comments.
  2.   I am now in Portland, Oregon. The Govenor, and then, locally, Portland declared a state of emergency. I saw the comment made that Oregon was the furthest behind on dealing with CV of the 3 West Coast states.
  3.   I went out yesterday ( Sun.), I am ill and had sleep to make up to-day (Mon.) and ended up not going out - I may go out across the street to a all-nite grocery tonite-early Tues. I have not heard of a regular medical appointment Tues. being cancelled.

I missed the one they had here on the Island.

I heard the jets, Jeff, but I didn't see them.

They were probably closer to you, then, than they were to me. I had a good view to the east, south and west (my view to the north was blacked), but they were so far away they looked like a flock of birds off in the distance.

We had a member of our household test positive for Covid antibodies this past week.  We were all sick back in January after having a house guest who flew in from Chicago and we had suspected it might have been Covid.

I didn't get very sick at all but I decided it would be a good idea to get my own antibody test done this week.

I was out jogging along PCH yesterday and people along the coast seem to be returning to some type of normalcy.  Lots of people out surfing, swimming, biking etc... Lots of cars cruising.  And plenty of people patronizing the local businesses.  But instead of going inside, they just waited outside for service.  I'd say about half of them were wearing masks.

It sounds like you and your household were lucky in that you recovered.

Where we are (the foothills in L.A. County) almost everyone is wearing masks. I think most people have learned to socially distance.

I'm grateful that my wife, Gayle, spent her time in a rehab facility and "graduated" before this all started. We and our relatives and friends are all okay.

Glad you're doing well!

Down here, San Diego Blood Bank is offering free antibody testing.  I have a test scheduled for tomorrow.  I think it will probably take a few days before I get the results.

Got our test results back.  We have two people in the house with antibodies. (If the tests are to be believed)  I tested negative.  So nothing much changes except I feel a little more confident about not getting them sick and vice versa.

If the blood bank is doing it I would think they are using a reliable test. I understand that there are some tests out there that may be detecting antibodies to a different coronavirus, not Covid-19.

...In all the weeks of the now lighting closure of comics shops, did anyone here ever see any form of comics offered for sale in stores that remained open? Including Archie Digests and the DC Wal-Get digests? (Has anyone ever seen them for sale in a Target, by the way?)

I lost my job today.

Oh, hell!  I'm so sorry to hear that, Jeff.  All sympathy and good wishes to you and Tracy.

Very sorry that happened, Jeff.
