"As previously noted somewhere, I added Anatole, Bebeck and Cassiopia to the list."

I didn't recognize them as being Red Trinity.

"I missed Kugel and Lenny, I'll have to research them."

The one chasing the "Kapitalist Kourier" on #12 is either Kugel or Lenny.

"OK, when I Google Kugel and Lenny, the first thing that comes up is this list."

They're like failed speed experiments or something (they wear ski masks because they're hideously deformed). Most of my posts are from memory; although I resorted to the actual comics for this one (which is where I found their names) I didn't actually reread them.

One adjustment I'd suggest -- in listing the various Flashes (reproduced below, but renumbered due to automation), you're leaving out Lia Nelson, the Flash from the Tangent universe. I don't think she necessarily needs to be included here, because her powers are more light-based than speed-based. But she debuted in 1997, before Tanaka Rei in 1999...so even if she isn't included, she'd be Flash V... so Rei would be VI, and so on.

  1. The Flash I (Jay Garrick) “Golden Age”

  7. The Flash VII (Danica Williams)
  8. The Flash VIII (Mary Maxwell) Just Imagine
  9. The Flash IX (John Fox)
  10. The Flash X (Avery Ho)
  11. The Flash XI (Jess Chambers) Future State

To be frank, those numbers are just meant to indicate the number of Flashes on this list, not the number of Flashes in comics history. I tried to keep them inorder pof first appearance, but no doubt I've made mistakes.

Ah, okay!

In that case, let me nominate Krakkl, a Sonic the Hedgehog type character who raced Wally West around the universe. He debuted in a multi-part story that started in Flash 136. He's energy-based, but given that he's based on Sonic and the only story he stars in is about a race, I'd say speed is his main power.

How about MERCURY the SHAZAM Elder who teamed with the JLA/JSA/Earth-S heroes in Justice League of America #135-137?
