Saw a Takashi Miike picture called The Great Yokai War. "Yokai" is a Japanese term for monsters from folklore, as opposed to the more familiar kaiju. It's a kids' picture, about a young boy from Tokyo sent out to live in the countryside with his older sister and his intermittently senile grandfather. When a vengeful spirit appears, the boy gets caught up in a war between warring groups of yokai and must find his courage to become the "Kirin Rider", the hero who will set everything to rights. It's not a bad picture - nothing deep, but an amusing story. Some of the yokai are really trippy, Japanese folklore can get pretty "out there", apparently.

To clarify, Carol was in Better Call Saul. I was contrasting her (probable) last performance with Korman's, which may have been this thing. I was in rant mode when I was typing and probably could have been clearer.
Good to know the name of Denny's character. I recall when they were leaning into her to be the Next Big Star from SNL. It didn't happen, and that first season after the original cast all left went south pretty fast. I believe she now teaches drama at a college somewhere.
I remember that first post-original cast season of SNL quite well... too well. I watched every episode from the very beginning until 1987, when ST:TNG debuted. Then I made a choice (perhaps the wrong one?). I didn't watch a single episode since until I started watching it again in season 50. Oh, Denny Dillon... I seen to recall she was on a George Carlin album, one that included skits. It wasn't his best work.

You could compile one, certainly, if that was something you felt worth doing. But that seems about only slightly more useful than unilaterally renaming geographical features while the world burns.
THE RUTLES (ALL YOU NEED IS CASH): Having grown up in a household in which my older brother and sister were teenagers during the height of Beatlemania, I've pretty much always been aware of the Beatles. Over the years I have seen This is Spinal Tap two or three times, but I haven't seen All You Need is Cash since it first aired on TV in 1978. I was more than passingly familiar with the Beatles when I was 14, but I know so much more about them now. I am very impressed with how well-made this "mock-umentary" is made.
