I meant to post this earlier but Night of the Lepus is on TCM tonight (4/15) at 11:30 PM EST.
This is one of those movies that I always heard about but never seen.
Of course, part of me wanting to see this is that DeForest Kelley is in it. As a kid, I was usually keen on seeing Star Trek actors in other shows!

A Blast from the Past!
TCM is showing George Pal's DOC SAVAGE: THE MAN OF BRONZE (1975) on Friday (4/25) night at 11:30 PM to 1:30 AM.
While it wasn't a success, it led to Marvel putting out both a Doc Savage comic book and magazine plus having him meet Spider-Man, the Thing and the Human Torch!
And I like it though the guys playing Ham and Monk are ill-suited for the roles.
Sorry for the short notice but I just found out that on Monday 10/13 from 6 AM to 8 PM, TCM will be showing seven Man From U.N.C.L.E. films from the 60s where they spliced together two episodes to release it theatrically. I guess it would work better if it was a two-parter.
Luckily most of their bad guys worked for THRUSH so that must have made things easier.
But imagine had they done that with Star Trek!
I haven't seen the second Batman serial, Batman and Robin (1949). The first episode is scheduled on TCM at 6:30 AM Eastern Time this Saturday, May 16.. Even though I am on the west coast, my cable company carries the eastern feed. Yours may differ.
I've got both Batman serials on both VHS and DVD. I've been watching quite a few serials recently, but this one hadn't been on my list. At the rate of one per week, though, I figured I could work it in. I re-watched the first episode, but I don't see any others upcoming...? One thing that strikes me about this version is that "stately Wayne Manor" is just a house in the suburbs which would not be out of place in Mayfield or Bryant Park.
I don't know why they skipped a week, but episode two airs tomorrow morning. (Check your local listings.)
I haven't watched episode 1 yet. I have it set to record all the episodes, so no worries.
