"City of Spires" - "Wreck of the Titan" - "Legend of the Cybermen"

If you’ve listened to the whole thing, you now know what I meant when I said “this trilogy is definitely a Doctor Who story in that it wouldn't work as Star Trek or Battlestar Galactica or any other kind of straight-up ‘serious’ science fiction.” My Unofficial designation for this trilogy is “The Land of Fiction.” (There’s your SPOILER.) If you’re anything like me, this trilogy put you in the mood to re-watch “The Mind Robber” (or, next time you watch that, you’ll be put in the mood to listen to this). The next time the Sixth Doctor reunites with Jamie and Zoe (#199, “The Last of the Cybermen”) it will be for real.
I did re-watch "The Mind Robber", albeit with the commentary track form Wendy Padbury, Fraser Hines, Hamish Wilson and David Maloney.
The audio stores do hav eone advantage: You don't have to look at the creaky special effects.
