Looks like it pretty much stopped here. I've a little work to catch up, on, but I'll probably be out to shovel before dark.

Let's see... looking back at my previous posts to this thread, I experienced snow on two consecutive days in 2015, and once in 2021. We have just experienced the warmest December in 130 years of record-keeping. That doesn't mean we won't have a potentially freezing winter, however, and I am not confident that the Texas power grid will be able to handle it if we do.
Today is 70 degrees and sunny, but we've got more bad weather on the way: rain and clouds moving in Monday and Tuesday, wind and rain Wednesday with a low of 22, 30% chance of snow Thursday with a low of 17.
Rain started yesterday afternoon and turned to sleet by around 2:00AM. It sleeted the rest of the night and into the morning, turning to snow, big sloppy flakes, about a half hour ago (10:30AM). These are some of the biggest snowflakes I have ever seen, most of them about the size of a quarter, no exaggeration. It's now 22 degrees. The show is expected to continue through 2:00 PM, but the temperature is not expected to get above freezing until Saturday or Sunday. I bought groceries yesterday and Tracy is working from home. As long as the power stays on, we're in good shape.
Anne has had a rough time getting back to NYC. Plane was cancelled this weekend due to the east coast storms and cancelled yesterday due to snow here. She has a flight for tomorrow...at 6 AM. Oof.
If she can get back, it's n ot that bad here, now.

Freezing rain started during the night and continues now. I wish it would change to sleet or snow. Friends have reported power outages, and ours blinked a few minutes ago, but we're still going right now. The dishwasher and clothes dryer are running, and we have soup in the slow cooker, so I hope we keep power.
I got a mixture of everything at my place. That ended is snow for a few hours.
I was actually supposed to start dog/housesitting for some friends, but their flight got cancelled this afternoon. Of course not until they drove to the airport, paid for parking, paid and checked their luggage, ate lunch at the airport when the flight got delayed. Then had to drive back once it was cancelled. They ended up leaving their luggage at the airport for now, as they were told it would be hours before they got it back.
