In honor of America's Independence weekend, I've got a question for our collected Legionnaires? Who are the best patriotic heroes? (And I included "heroes" plural so that we could say "Captain America" and somebody else).

I never thought much about Miss America either way until her 70th anniversary special just a little bit ago. Now I'd have to rank her up there and hope Marvel does something with her again.
I really like one of the more recent patriotic heroes: Skyrocket, from Kurt Busiek's Power Company. I thought that she did a great job of fitting into this niche without being derivative. I'm still hoping she shows up in another team book. I'd even like to see her join the JLA.
