  • The Ghostbusters battle Gozer.
  • The first of Skynet’s agents, a T-800 Terminator, arrives in Los Angeles, where it attempts to kill Sarah Connor, mother of John. It is destroyed by Kyle Reese, the first of John Connor’s agents. Reese is himself killed, but not before becoming the father of John Connor.
  • The Fifth Doctor and Tegan Jovanka and Vislor Turlough battle the Malus.  Later, they  battle time-traveling Dalek infiltrators.
  • The Fifth Doctor and his companions Vislor Turlough and Peri Brown battle the Master on Earth and on Sarn.
  • Charles Arcola Junior, is placed in charge of the Powell household. (107)
  • Miyagi Kesuke begins teaching karate to Daniel LaRusso.
  • When his friend Mikey Tandino is murdered, Detroit police detective Axel Foley pursues the killer to Beverly Hills.
  • Samantha Baker develops magical powers, becoming a teenage witch. At about the same time, a local boy called "Farmer Ted" disappears without a trace. Shortly thereafter, Samantha acquires a pet turtle she calls "Farmer Ted". (108)

Having returned to the present, Marty uses the De Lorean to travel into the future. Doc Brown then uses the De Lorean to travel to 1885, where he is trapped. Marty goes back to rescue him, but fails. However, Doc manages to build another time machine and returns to 1985.
  • A paramedic becomes a Jason Voorhees copycat killer, before being killed by Tommy Jarvis.
  • Rocky Balboa fights Ivan Drago.
  • The Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown battle the Cybermen on Earth.
  • The Second and Sixth Doctors and Jamie MacCrimmon and Peri Brown battle Androgums and Sontarans in Seville.
  • Mario Video first travels to the Mushroom Kingdom. He meets Princess Peach and battles the evil Bowser.
  • Government researchers in Florida attempt to discover the secrets of the living dead. The experiment fails catastrophically. Chemical residue from the experiment is accidentally shipped to a medical supply warehouse in Louisville, KY. Workers at the warehouse accidentally breach the chemical containers, sparking a fresh outbreak of the living dead, this time stopped by Infinity, Inc.
  • Autobots and Decepticons revive on Earth and renew their ancient conflict.
  • Ted Lawson constructs a robot in the form of a small girl, that he named "Vickie". With his family's help, he passes her offf as his daughter.
  • The Excitebike motorcycle races are first held.
  • Fukamachi Sho bonds with a guyver unit, becoming Guyver One. Finding himself pursued by the Chronos Corporation, he seeks assistance from Japan's super-heroes, who in turn alert heroes around the world. A worldwide series of battles against Chronos begins.
  • High schoolers Andrew Clarke, Brian Ralph Johnson, John Bender, Claire Standish and Allison Reynolds spend Saturday morning detention together.

  • Melmacian Gordon Shumway crashlands on Earth. Green Lantern Jose Hernandes helps repair his ship and sends him on his way.
  • Tommy Jarvis accidentally revives Jason Voorhees.
  • “Itchy Koo” Ichinohei and Princess Asrial of Salusia arrive in Quagmire, USA, and end up as rivals for the attentions of Jeremy Feeple.
  • A cat named Chatran and a dog named Poosky have several adventures together.
  • When Nova Laboratories constructs robots for the military, one accidentally becomes sentient, naming itself "Johnny Five".
  • Miyagi Kesuke and Daniel LaRusso travel to Okinawa.
  • While attempting to duplicate Andre Delambre's experiments, Seth Brundle has a similar accident.
  • An unknown Japanese man invents the sport of Balloon Fighting. 
  • Dennis Mitchell is elected to the U.S. Congress.
  • Jonny Quest and Hadji have a last series of adventures with Doctor Quest and Race Bannon before the latter two retire.
  • The angel Pit helps the goddess Palutena stop the evil Medusa from taking over Angel Land.

  • There is another outbreak of the living dead near Pittsburgh, this time dealt with by the Avengers. 
  • Soramame Taro becomes a policeman.
  • While visiting England, Randi Wallace becomes a werewolf.
  • When bank executive Sam Wheat is murdered, Deadman helps him remain on Earth as a ghost and use psychic Oda Mae Brown to warn his girlfriend Molly Jensen against the friend that betrayed him.
  • Izumi Shinichi encounters the alien Parasyte he names "Migi".
