I'd like to see if I can get this list up to one thousand. I'm sure that I've missed a lot of obvious ones, and even more obscure ones.

"The Enchantress" we were talking about here was the one from Masters of the Universe. . As for DC's Enchantress, I guess I'd always thought of her as a villain. I'\ve never read any of her early stories.

DC's Enchantress (June Moon) started out as a super-heroine in the Silver Age with a brief run in her own strip in one of their mystery titles. When she finally reappeared in the Bronze Age in Superman Family, an attempt to increase her powers went awry, putting her into conflict with Supergirl. Eventually, she was scooped up into the "Forgotten Villains" group (rather than getting a redemption arc to put her in the "Forgotten Heroes" team), which led to her joining the Suicide Squad, the only reason she wasn't actually forgotten.

The Fabulous Four seem to have been also known as the Supercaen.
I gather that she later gets powers, so why not? Also, what's with his face here?
Possibly Carol from "Wonderman", but she's another marginal case.

Zuni of the Black Musketeers, from the 1970s Black Panther.
Interesting. From what I'm finding on-line, they don't seem to have benen "super-heroes" as such, unless I'm missing something obvius, which is possible.

How about Laurel Kent pre-Crisis?
If robots count, possibly Astro Boy's sister Uran. Also, the Red Torpedo from the 2009 Red Tornado mini, but I've not read this. Also Samantha of the Telebugs.
Possibly Kwannon from the X-titles, but I can't discourse on whether she counts as a hero.
The Rangers of Freedom feature from Rangers of Freedom Comics (Fiction House) had a recurring female character, Gloria Travis, who appeared as Ranger Girl in #3-#4.
