Ok, how about this for an idea. We take it in turns to post a favourite (British spelling) comic cover every day. This went really well on the comic fan website that I used to frequent. What we tried to do was find a theme or subject and follow that, until we all got bored with that theme. I'd like to propose a theme of letters of the alphabet. So, for the remainder of October (only 5 days) and all of November, we post comic cover pictures associated with the letter "A". Then in December, we post covers pertaining to the letter "B". The association to the letter can be as tenuous as you want it to be. For example I could post a cover from "Adventure Comics" or "Amazing Spider Man". However Spider Man covers can also be posted when we're on the letter "S". Adventure Comic covers could also be posted when we're on the letter "L" if they depict the Legion of Super Heroes. So, no real hard, fast rules - in fact the cleverer the interpretation of the letter, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
And it's not written in stone that we have to post a cover every day. There may be some days when no cover gets posted. There's nothing wrong with this, it just demonstrates that we all have lives to lead.
If everyone's in agreement I'd like to kick this off with one of my favourite Action Comic covers, from January 1967. Curt Swan really excelled himself here.

How about Superman (and Supergirl) telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?
LOL, I just posted this same transition cover on page 1565. I even labeled it And now it pops up on page 1568, from SteveW.
@SteveW, This is the third time you've duplicated a cover I've posted for the Robots theme, just a scant page or two after I've initially posted the cover. I know it's said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but...

Irma, I'm truly sorry. I was so proud that I'd found a transition cover (the first time ever!) that vanity blinded me to the fact that someone else had already posted it. I shall ensure that, in January, I redouble my efforts not to repost any covers that anyone else (especially you) may have posted.
However, have you considered that, since we both keep finding the same covers to post that:-
a) we're both using the same search engine or
b) we're psychically attuned?
I, too, had that cover as a possible transition, but deleted it when I saw it was posted. There are a limited number of robot/courtroom comic covers that will turn up when one searches, I suspect.

I was feeling comfortable that I had two of the transition covers (that were ultimately posted) ready to go. Surely, they won't both be posted before I can do it.
Wrong!
(I'm not whining, really!)
For those interested, in my computer is a separate file for each theme with a PENDING and USED folder within that. The fact that I lost 3 (won't say which ones) before getting here this evening just makes me adjust accordingly.
In the meantime, courtesy of the Grand Comics Database, the original...
And the new cover for the reprint after Deadman ended and the title reverted to an "encore" (reprint) series for the rest of its run while making sure there was an Adam Strange story in each issue. Interesting that the dialog is the same for both.
Still wish DC would resume sci-fi tales on a regular basis again. Some of the Silver Age stories might have been hokey, but they were still entertaining.
