Congratulations to Jeff Lemire and Valiant as Bloodshot takes home his second Cappie for 2015, this time for Best Character Recovery.

Congratulations to CW and the Flash as the scarlet speedster has won the cappie for the best superhero/comic book story in another media for the second straight year!

Congratulations to Marvel Comics as their new Star Wars series has won the 2015 Cappie for Best Licensed Property!

Congratulations to Archie Comics and their Red Circle line as Kip Burland has been named the recipient of the 2015 RIP Award for fictional characters.  This is the second straight victory in this category for Archie as the company's titular character received this honor in 2014.

After cleaning up in half of the categories, this last award seems like a bit of a formality: Image was the clear winner of the 2015 Cappie for Best Publisher.  This is the second straight victory for Image, indicative of their renaissance as the premiere destination for creator-owned comics.

Congratulations to Ed Brubaker, the Best Writer for 2015!  This is Brubaker's fourth win in this category, following 2006, '07 and '09.

Congratulations to Fiona Staples, the Best Artist for 2015!  This is Staples' third win in this category, following 2012 and '14.

Congratulations to Archie and Marvel!  The two publishers are sharing the 2015 Cappie for best self-contained story, single issue or one-shot with Archie #4, aka "The Lipstick Incident" and Hank Johnson, Agent of Hydra.

Congratulations to Marvel again!  Marvel won the best story arc for 2015 twice as "Time Runs Out" in Avengers and New Avengers tied Thor's "Goddess of Thunder."

Congratulations to Neil Gaiman, JH Williams III and DC as Sandman Overture was named the best limited series for 2015.

Congratulations to Dark Horse and DC!  The two publishers tied for the best reprint or archive with classic books by all-time creators: Creepy Presents Alex Toth and Tales of the Batman: Len Wein.

Congratulations to Princess Koriand'r of Tamaran!  Starfire won the Best Cover Cappie for 2015 with the Looney Tunes variant co-starring Pepe Lepeu!
