I think I like the shows. 45 minutes to park, 20 minutes in line and the attachments will show the crowds. Forget seeing any of the celebrity guests, it was all I could do to get to discount long boxes.

We have a comic show here in Memphis, run by one of the guys from Comics & Collectibles, our largest comics shop.
We have a lot of one-day shows in the area. The biggest is probably the one in Charlotte: it's quarterly, organized by a group of local dealers. HeroesCon has had a one-day Mini-Con, too. That's a huge show floor in those photos. It looks nearly the size of HeroesCon's show floor (there are also several rooms for panels).
No flame wars. No trolls. But a lot of really smart people.The Captain Comics Round Table tries to be the friendliest and most accurate comics website on the Internet.
