As noted above, today's purchase is Nemo:The Roses of Berlin, by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neil. It's entertaining and readable, but not perhaps the most enthralling installment of these books. The large chunks of unstranslated German go from an amusing gimmick to an annoyance really quickly. One suspects perhaps that this series is becoming played out a bit.

Today's purchase is Mobile Suit Gundam - The Origin V: Char & Sayla, by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. It'll probably be a few days before I get a chance to read it, but I've enjoyed the first few volumes. It's a bit pricy, but it's one that's always interested me - plus it gets referenced in all sorts of other stories, so I was curious to see what it was like.
Today's purchase is Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Detective Diary, vol. 2, by Takumi Yoshimura. Of course, I still haven't read last week's manga yet!

I didn't actually "buy" these, so I don't know that I should put them on the list, but for completeness' sake, I'll note that for Free Comic Book Day, I picked up the Bongo Comics Free-For-All (the usual collection of fairly amusing stuff), Courtney Crumrin (pretty interesting stuff) and Future's End #0 (which looks like the latest knock-off of stuff like TheTerminator or Twelve Monkeys).
