Looney Toons comic books .

...( Again , I am continuing exactly where I left off . )...of characters as comic book characters .

The WB-based ones have tended to be seen as professional , competent , okay...even as the WB shorts character' actual cartoons tended , in the latter 20th , to be far more seen and generally admired , by cartoon buffs anyway , than Disney's shorts . ( Pehaps helped along by Disney's general " benign neglect "...???...of their 'toon shorts . )

If nothing else , WB's now-long-running run of the LT comic book has shown the Looney characters to have accomplished , at present , a more consistent/longer-lasting run in the funnybook motif !!!

It's maybe only been the professional likes of Mark Evanier that have given much love to the CB Loonies - and I guess that Bugs Bunny: A Comics Celebration TPB that ME wrote the intro to is OOP , and it appears that SUPERMAN MEETS BUGS BUNNY miniseries that DC put out about the late 90s was never TPBd at all .

DC's kids line doesn't bear the trade dress line " Johnny DC " anymore , neither the Kid's DC ones or the Wareners' properties , though the interuor hype page still shows J-DC .

I have a feeling that Warners' may produce considerab;y more Loonies comic-book material than 22 pages a month - Yes , that's 22 - even as , maybe 2 years ago?? , DC anticipated their recent pulling back by reducing the amount of story material in the J-DC titles to 20 pages , Looney Toons stayed at 22 - and , at least #194 had an extra page , 23 !!!!!!!!!

#194 had , as the titles occasionally do , a rather more " clever " - seemingly somewhat more aimed at older fans/those with more knowledge/experience of the cartoons - story .

...Now , on the theory of " Clean up your own back yard " , perhaps I should not write a post that , as above , isn't , maybe , the most " through-written " post , not to weaven ( Weaved ??? ) together , as I have critisized others' perceived lack of proper structure .

Well , I'm not a professional now , don't claim to be , I post under circumstances where I have little time to " second draft "/take much time - And , as a final comment for to-day can be , " Do you think I get paid for this - uh , ' stuff ' ?
