For me so far:

Amazing Spider-Man: No.  There's some interesting ideas in here, but not enough to spare some of my limited budgets of comics money/reading time.

Guardians of the Galaxy:  Yes. Just interesting enough to give them a chance.

The New Avengers: Yes. So far, they seem to be treating Squirrel Girl well.

Spider-Gwen: Yes. So far, they've maintained the quality from the previous book.

The Uncanny Avengers:  Maybe. It's mildly interesting, but I really don't like Deadpool.

How about you?

I liked Moon Girl, too. A really solid origin story.

Captain Comics:

Extraordinary X-Men #1: Maybe. It's an interesting lineup, although there's no explanation for most of this, since I haven't read Uncanny X-Men #600 yet, or any of the Inhumans stuff about the Terrigen Bomb. I have now joined the ranks of those who don't read every blinkin' Marvel comic every month, so first issues need to provide me with whatever information I need to enjoy the series, and this one doesn't do that. Nice to see some familiar faces, though, instead of a bunch of sixth- or seventh-generation X-people I don't care about.

I gave Extraordinary X-Men an extra issue to wow me but it's pretty pedestrian so far.  Like Cap, I don't read every Marvel book and Extra X-Men makes a lot of oblique references to past events from other books and crossovers so that's kind of annoying.  There also doesn't seem to be a reason for these characters to be in a book together as they're off on separate disconnected stories so far.  It reads much more like a middle issue than the start of a new series, and not a particularly good one at that.  It's too bad because Extra X-Men has a lot of characters I like but I'm done with this one for now.

Devil Dinosaur and Moon  Girl: Yes

My tally so far:

YES: 4

NO: 1

All New Inhumans- No. I thought it was decent. Definitely more interesting than the Inhumans have been in the past but not enough to stick with it.  Kind of an X-Men vibe to it.

Red Wolf- Maybe. I will at least get the second issue. This appears to spin out of the old west universe from Secret Wars.  Really nice art.

Totally Awesome Hulk -No.

Daredevil -Yes. Apparently DD is going back to gritty noir but I thought it was really good gritty noir.

Daredevil - Yes

Totally Awesome Hulk - Yes

I read the following today:

Drax #1: Entertaining, but it wasn't really interesting enough to get me to pick up the next issue. It did have pretty art. One thing that rubbed me the wrong way was how Venom and Ben Grimm snubbed Drax and told him he couldn't go with them to get a drink. I realize Drax had to have a reason to be left alone for his solo series, but that seemed like a really jerk-move on both of their parts.

Karnak #1: This was really interesting, and I think I will probably either pick up the next issue or pick up the trade when it comes out.

Hercules #1: Nope. It wasn't bad, but there was really nothing about it that really hooked me.

Spidey: Yes.

Daredevil: Yes

Although i did buy #2 of the following title, I will not be buying #3.

All-New, All-Different Avengers: No.

My tally so far:

YES: 5

NO: 2

Same here.

In December so far:

  • ALL NEW X-MEN (just to see)
  • DAREDEVIL
  • RED WOLF (I really enjoyed the 1872 mini but am wondering how it be utilized now)
  • TOTALLY AWESOME HULK (trial basis only)
  • SCARLET WITCH (Never thought I'd see the day!)

As for SPIDEY, I know about the Wall-Crawler's early days already, thank you very much!

But if it gets great reviews I may trade-wait it!

Picked up Ultimates #2 today. So far, this is the only post SW book that has totally clicked for me.  Ironically, it reads more like the Avengers comic that I want than any of the various Avengers titles.

Scarlet Witch: No.

(But not for the reasons one might think. See discussion.)

My Tally:

YES: 5

NO: 3
