  • I own both X-Men 3 and Spider-Man 3.  I bought X-Men...Spider-Man came free with our PS3.  I've watched X-Men a few more times...I've never put Spider-Man 3 in our DVD player.
  • Batgirl will be better written...Batwoman will have better art.

  • 1. Biggs Darklighter or Neville Longbottom

No idea who Neville Longbottom is.

    2. Kitty Pryde or Donna Troy

    Kitty. More interesting character.

    3. Donna Troy or Deanna Troi

    Donna. More interesting character.

    4. Han Solo or Indiana Jones

Han. I'm not the biggest Wars-head on the board, but I prefer them over the Indy pictures

    5. Sauron or Saruman

Saruman. Played by a cooler actor

    6. Sauron or Superman

Tough call. If Superman can get ahold of the One Ring, he can have it to the Crack of Doom before Sauron knows what hit him. On the other hand, if Sauron can somehow get a shot in...

    7. Batwoman or Batgirl

Depends on which Batwoman and which Batgirl.

    8. Kendra Saunders or Shiera Hall

Kendra. More interesting character.  Take Shayera Hol over either of them, though.

    9. iZombie or American Vampire

    Unfamiliar with either work.

    10. Jason Todd or Damian Wayne

Isn't there some way they could both lose?

    11. Just Imagine Stan Lee or Tangent

I liked the "Just Imagine" books better.

    12. John Romita or Wally Wood

    Not knowledgeable enough to say.

    13. Ronnie Raymond or Jason Rusch

Never liked Firestorm as a character, so I'm indifferent to them both.

    14. Ray Palmer or Ryan Choi

Ray was never that interesting of a character, don't know much about Ryan.

    15. New Universe or 2099

    Unfamiliar with either work.

    16. Cyclops or Storm

    Ororo. More interesting character.

    17. X-Men 3 or Spider-Man 3

    Unfamiliar with either work.

    18. Spider-Island or Schism

    Unfamiliar with either work.

    19. Brian Michael Bendis or Geoff Johns

    Not knowledgeable enough to say.

    20. Big Barda or Sif

    Barda all the way.

    21. Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon

Flash tended to have better art.

    22. Telepathy or Telekinesis

    Telepathy.

    23. Brightest Day or 52

    Never read Brightest Day.

    24. Kyle Rayner or Connor Hawke

    Kyle. Less uninteresting character.

    25. Apocalypse or Ragnarok

    Ragnarok and roll!

  • The Baron said:

    1. Biggs Darklighter or Neville Longbottom

No idea who Neville Longbottom is.

I think he's that "Nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more" guy.
  • The Neville thing...my girls would hurt you, Baron...

  • Still don't know what it means.
  • Seconds of internet research reveal to me that Neville Longbottom is a character from the Harry Potter stories. Never read 'em. To be precise, I read the first chapter of the first one, found it spectacularly uninteresting, and never picked one up again.  Saw part of one of the movies as I was at a friend's house and I didn't want to fight with her about it. Whichever one it was, Mr. Longshoreman must not have been in that one.
  • ...Just for one of thease , Spider-Man III , I think it is nifty !!!!!!!!!!!
  • ...Despite the " HUHH ????/WTF ? " moments concerning the series' own continuity - SPOILERS ! - , If Sandman killed Uncle Ben , not The Burglar , didn't Spidey , back in I , hound an innocent (of murder) man at least into a situation where he was likely to fall - as he did - down dead ? Or , did the series' Burglar kill somebody else ? And all Venom needs to be rung into submission is standard-issue construction-site detrius/stuff ? And the NYC gendarmes take such a long time getting to said midtown Manhattan site - I know , I know , to let the characters work out their personal issues on their own . And , going back to the first , Queens resident Petey apparently is bused to a Manhattan HS ? )
  • 1. Biggs Darklighter or Neville Longbottom

    Neville.

Biggs is a trivia point for me; Neville is a well-rounded character.

    2. Kitty Pryde or Donna Troy

    Kitty.

Donna only really interested me for the five minutes she was the new Wonder Woman at the beginning of Allan Heinberg's run.

    4. Han Solo or Indiana Jones

    Han.

    7. Batwoman or Batgirl

    Batgirl.

Fun always wins over edgy for me.

    9. iZombie or American Vampire

    iZombie.

    See #7.

    10. Jason Todd or Damian Wayne

    Damian.

    11. Just Imagine Stan Lee or Tangent

Tangent, so long as I get to ignore that awful mini-series of a couple years ago.

    13. Ronnie Raymond or Jason Rusch

    Jason.

Never really cared for Firestorm before him.

    14. Ray Palmer or Ryan Choi

    Ryan.

    Ray has always seemed boring.

    15. New Universe or 2099

    2099.

    Because Spider-Man 2099.

    17. X-Men 3 or Spider-Man 3

     X-Men 3.

Any sins that X3 can count (and it does have 'em) can be excused because, hey, it's a Brett Ratner movie, what'd you expect? Spidey 3 had much more cachet going in, and so had further to fall to reach the same level of mediocrity.

    18. Spider-Island or Schism

    Spider-Island.

By default, because I'm not reading Schism.

    19. Brian Michael Bendis or Geoff Johns

    Bendis.

    22. Telepathy or Telekinesis

     Telekinesis.

Because I'm much more lazy than I am interested in knowing what other people are REALLY thinking.

    23. Brightest Day or 52

    52.

By dint of my not having read Brightest Day.

    24. Kyle Rayner or Connor Hawke

    Connor.

    Don't know why.
