I was watching the Savage/Warrior "retirement" match on disk last night, and it came to the ending where Elizabeth threw Sherri out of the ring, and the thought came to me, "Both of these women are dead now, it's depressing."

Stephanie McMahon opened the show and basically praised Vince and said that it was time to thank him for all he's done.

At least she didn't compare it to 9/11!

I wouldn't watch Smackdown if you paid me, but I wonder what - if anything - they'll  say tonight.

Interesitng.  I'm sure it'll be on-line soon.

So, was Lesnar's 'walk-out" a work?

Seems that way. He appeared at the end so either it was, or he calmed down or got what he wanted.

If it was a legit walk-out, I wouldn't be surprised if Heyman had a word with him. Paul E.'s always been good at talking people around.

Meanwhile, it looks as though Vince's troubles are growing.  It sounds as though the Feds are going after him again.  I'm sure that they'd love to nail him using the biggest hammer they can find.

RIP Antonio Inoki  Another one of the old great ones gone.

Stephanie's Out    Is Hunter next, I wonder?

The latest  "hot" rumor - and as far as I can tell, it's just a rumor - is that the WWE has been - or is going to be - sold to the Saudi Public Investment Fund.

If true, that ain't good.

I Can't imagine Hunter sticking around without Stephanie, but we'll see.

I wouldn't be surprised if AEW isn't licking their chops.
