Come see comics trivia geek (and, oh yeah, Eisner-winning DD writer) Mark Waid take on a team of Fans to see who knows more useless information about Marvel and DC Silver Age comics!

Date: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.on Friday, April 26,
Location: Variant Stage

  • I think you should blow everybody's minds this year and ask a lot of Baby Huey and Little Audrey questions.

  • That's one way to put it.

Some of the panelists have wanted to expand it to include other publishers, like Dell, but I think 1. They don't know as much about that stuff as they think, since there's so much and 2. The audience would lose interest, as we all read DC and Marvel, but after that it fragments.

I'm not that well versed on the LAU, but I could do plenty of categories on the Little Dot universe. Her relatives could keep us going for days, especially since everyone would be asleep by the second category.

  • I think an SA panel on Little Audry or Baby Huey, or even Little Dot for that matter, would only be noteworthy for the sound of crickets in in the room.

That being said, I think you could include Thunder Agents without much damag...er, I mean, problem.

  • I think you should line up the panelists, then surprise them with an announcement that it's going to concentrate on Lil Dot, and watch the chaos ensue.  After a few questions you could let them off the hook and go on with the real contest. LOL!

What does that say about us as comic book fans that we know more about Little Dot and Little Lotta, both of whom were portrayed as being more than a couple bubbles off-level, than we do about playful Little Audrey?

  • The late, lamented E. Nelson Bridwell would've been a shoo-in to win this.

  • If you're going to be at C2E2, don't forget to stop by the Variant Stage at 1:45 p.m. tomorrow to watch titans clash as Mark Waid take on the Fans in a trivial Battle of the Century!

  • I'm looking forward to hearing the internet crack when you announce that all the questions will focus on Lil Dot's relatives this year....

  • It'll be a surprise, all right. I'll report the final score from my hospital room once I regain consciousness.

  • I wish I could be there to throw out the first bottle when you start off with Sad Sack.
