It's supposed to start after midnight here...maybe a couple of inches. Huzzah! It's cocoa and Sky Captain night at the Beechler-Simpson home!

The Lovely and Talented tells me that right now, among her Facebook friends, the three leading descriptions are Snowtastrophe. Snowpocalypse and Snowmageddon.

"Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cooooold snoooooowy out there today."
Of course, in the end, the real joke was that we hardly got any snow at all - just a light dusting.
Dusting? I use Swiffers these days.

"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." -Groucho Marx

Check out the Secret Headquarters (my store) website! It's a pretty lame website, but I did it myself, so tough noogies

Listen to WOXY.com, it's the future of rock-n-roll!

Feel free to come over and "dust" my driveway, Bob.
I would, but I don't know where you are.
One reason I really, really hate snow: Not only did we get entirely too much of it (about 36 inches), my power went out about 1:20 a.m. Friday. My family and about 250,000 of our neighbors spent Friday night, Saturday night and expect to spend Sunday night in the dark in cold houses. (I'm writing this from a friend's home who was fortunate enough to get his power restore last night about 10 p.m.

Just upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning for tonight! Huzzah!
I'm back home; the power came back on after 30+ hours. However, there's a forecast for 5 to 10 inches more Tuesday into Wednesday ... and I heard a rumor that more snow is coming Saturday and Sunday ...
They're sending me home early on account of the Snowpokolips, so you'll all have to do without me. On the other hand, amybe I'll get a couple of extra episodes of Gilligan,/i> in.
It's amazing me how so much of the country is being deluged with more then normal snow amounts and yet here in Cascadia we are having an uncommonly mild Winter. Jenn even heard that they're having to bring in extra snow to the Olympics because British Columbia doesn't have enough. Just incredible.
If it's snow they want, they could just come south to Pennsylvania or Maryland ...

A little south but very far east.
