I just got an email purporting to come from an Andrew Smith, with a link to a webpage which I didn't click on. The message says it was sent from an iPhone. I don't get much spam, and the name made me think of this board. I thought I should post about this in case a malicious party has gotten access to the board's email list.

Thanks for taking care of it, John. I knew there was a reason we all picked interest on you.

Spam friend request from new member Patrick Akinwutan: "Could you please get back to me on my private email (akinwuntanpatrick0@gmail.com) for details. Have a nice day,"

Yeah, I'll get right on that, Patrick.

Jeff, I got that same spam email. I hate to have my first post on the boards in quite some time to be about something like this. But it's always good to alert/warn others. Maybe my next post will be about something more positive.

I got the same message. I just deleted Patrick Akinwutan's account, so problem solved!

Same message from Patrick as well.  Too bad he's a bot.  Seems like a nice bot.

Never mind-question answered about Patrick.
