The Groups Pointer Thread

I'm not always that diligent about checking out the various groups I'm in -- and from the amount of activity I see in the groups, I might not be all that unusual (in that regard, anyway!). So it occurred to me that an ongoing thread in the forums (where I spend most of my time) pointing out some new and ongoing discussions in various groups might not be a bad thing. (And if it is, this thread will sink to the bottom and never be heard from again!) So, I thought I'd direct your attention to a discussion of Robinson's new JLA lineup in the JLA Group, All Along the JLA Watchtower!

  • Randy Jackson asked the important question, "Where are my pants?" over in the Pointless Room a while ago, and they have yet to surface.

Check out the Secret Headquarters (my store) website! It's a pretty lame website, but I did it myself, so tough noogies

Listen to WOXY.com, it's the future of rock-n-roll!

  • I think we do have a bit of a problem with things being 'Out of sight, out of mind' around here.

It's a pity the list of recent posts on the left hand side of the main page shows you several people posting on one thread as just one would show there's been recent activity and leave the other slots available for a more complete list of recently active threads.

Mods - Is there any way to adjust this?

For my part, its not a discussion 'mmmm per se', but ...FREE WHO!
    • I feel like the groups fall out of sight, too. Actually, even the general activity list on the left column of the home page could stand to be a lot longer. I think I miss new posts even in the current threads sometimes. That being said, I just posted a new "Mr. Vertigo Reviews" over in the Vertigo group. Drop by, why don't you?
  • Well, this could become a monthly thing. There's a new "Mr. Vertigo Reviews" over in the Vertigo group. We started a discussion of the Peter & Max Fables novel, too. I've finished it (but it's spoiler-free). Anyone else want to join in?
  • Hey, it is a monthly thing. There's a new "Mr. Vertigo Reviews" over in the Vertigo group. Not much Vertigo this month, but there are two manga and two crime titles.
  • Going along with what we've been discussing in the "The Groups - how can we make them better?" thread, here's a pointer to recent changes in the Vertigo group. There's a new "Mr. Vertigo Reviews"--and one from last month, too, if you missed it. I've added a widget for the Vertigo creator's blog Standard Attrition, and an RSS feed to the Vertigo: Graphic Content blog (the official DC Vertigo blog).
  • For those who are interested - In the Timelines Group, I've posted my take on a "Doctor Who" Timeline. I would've put it in the "Doctor Who" group, but I didn't want to clutter the place up.
  • Attention!

There's a new installment of Mr. Vertigo Reviews.

    That is all.
  • Hey! There's a new Mr. Vertigo Reviews!
  • As I said last month:

Hey! There's a new Mr. Vertigo Reviews!
