I've been enjoying it, so far.  I'll be curious to see where they go with it in the "Marvel nU52", or whatever they're calling it.

Not sure if I want all of Marvel's women in one book or just the main female Avengers with a couple of additions.

What is the reason for them all being together outside of Secret Wars?

Interesting how an all women team is considered great but if it was an all male team they'd get complaints.

How is the new Doctor Fate book?

A late reply, I know, but I just read the first three issues on Sunday. The one thing I really liked is that Levitz seems to be embracing the Egyptian elements of Fate and his past. The main character is Egyptian, even.

The rest is very typical new hero clichès. The character can't believe everything that is happening. It just can't be true even with days of him casting spells, and gods talking to him, etc. He is about to start medical school, blah, blah, blah. The supporting cast seems interesting, but they don't get enough screen time

I would say it is passable, buy them on the cheap if you see them

I like the new Dr. Fate book (and its main character) better than Trav does, though there's certainly some new-hero cliches in his DNA. But Sonny Liew's art is inviting to me  -- it's a lot quirkier than most superhero stuff -- and I think it's inspiring Levitz to up his game more than the house-style artists he'd been working with recently. I want it to move a little bit more quickly, though.
