  • From that one picture in your link, she looks very like the Lois Lane in the old Fleischer cartoons.  (A very good thing.)

And she seems to have the big eyes of Shuster's earliest Lois Lane appearances. (Another good thing)

The Superman Actor seems to have his own kiss-curl too!

Snyder obviously loves the comics, and I was fairly open-minded about his Watchmen, and gave it a fair go, but I don't know about another Superhero movie from him.  There was a lot of Watchmen he just didn't get!  Like Watchmen, Superman is about more than slick surfaces.

  • Hubba hubba!

I absolutely fell in love with her portrayal of Amelia Earhart in Night at the Museum 2: Electric Boogaloo.

  • I agree that Ms. Adams was memorable in a forgettable Night at the Museum II but it does seem a pity to cover or color that beautiful red hair!

Anyway, I've learned not to speculate when a "name" actor/actress plays a character from the comics. I've seen great performances and I've lived through terrible performances. Sometimes you just have to wait and see! Though I'm glad they didn't get too young an actress to be Lois.

Heidi MacDonald is also glad they hired a "grown woman" to play Lois. (Adams is 36; the last Lois, Kate Bosworth, was 23.) After seeing Adams in "The Fighter," I know she's a versatile actress, so I'm hoping for the best.

  • Amy Adams is playing Lois. She was a season oneSmallville freak-of-the-week. I love good casting
  • Ooooh, I like Amy Adams! She's been in some great movies, and she was also in a couple episodes of The Office. She's a great actress. Good pick!
