Whitfield dead at age 39

 

Whitfield was the star of the sword and sandal epic Spartacus on the Starz network.  He was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma toward the end of the first season, forcing him to leave the series.

Very sad. He was good in the Spartacus show. I was sorry to hear he had to drop out of the series due to his illness when he was diagnosed.
