Archie goes same day digital...

I'm not an Archie reader usually. This is neat news, though. In my experience, Archie doesn't have a big LCS presence. This ought to help them reach readers who might otherwise be picking them up at the grocery store or Borders.

"What's more, the digital versions of Archie books will be priced at $1.99, a full dollar cheaper than most print editions, which sets Archie and iVerse even further ahead of the competition, who've tended to price day-and-date digital comics at $3.99 or more."

The only two day-and-date titles I know of from any other publisher are "Justice League: Generation Lost" (DC) and "The Walking Dead" (Image) and they are both 2.99$.

Batman Beyond and Ultimate Spider-Man are starting same day digital publication, too.
