Just recently, Marvel has released the original Avengers Omnibus... a collection of the first 30 issues of the Earth's Mightest Heroes from 1963 through 1965 or so.
It occurs to me that there's another great Omnibus just waiting to be collected and released.
Shortly after Avengers Dissembled (Love it or Hate it), the numbering of the New Avengers was reset, and a massive 5-7 year story line was set into play. It involves a secret invasion that has been going on for a good long while, and culminates in a massive show-down in the streets of NYC with Skrulls, heroes, villians, guns and Super-Powers blazing. But everyone seems to have forgotten it and gotten over it now. Ho Hum....what's next?
Is there any possibility of assembling the main storyline, or interlacing enough of the tie-ins and the main storyline as it bounces between New Avengers and Might Avengers to fill not ONE Omnibus of about 30 issues, but perhaps TWO?
Anyone have any idea how that might go down?
