This is a hidden treasure to me. As I've said three stories in one title. Really I like the way they've expanded from the tv show and are exploring some new ground. Superman finds out that the situation on the planet is both worse and more complicated than he realized all those years ago. The trillians used the mangals horribly but Superman isn't ready to let the mangals go on a war of vengeance and he's trying to see both sides of it. He might not have much choice in the matter though. On the Batman side Terry is beginning to wonder what kind of life he's in for now. Something he's never really thought of before. He looks at Bruce who is in constant pain, Tim Drake who was tortured into insanity by the Joker, Dick and Barbara who remember nothing good from their time in costume and he's wondering what if any difference they made. These are the sort of thoughts that Bruce or Dick or Barbara never had when they were young because they were first generation. Also it looks like Max has found her own adventure and we might see modern Metal Men.
