The artist Dan Adkins died recently. This post at The Beat has links to David Spurlock's announcement of his death and an appreciation by P. Craig Russell. Adkins inked Barry Windsor-Smith's early work very attractively; in this interview Paul Gulacy described him as having made Smith look like Smith. Rest in Peace.
