Finally got/read this today. Always fun carrying around paper products on a rainy day! But off we go:

The Joker's (return to?) murdering people as seen could have placed him in "the state hospital for the criminally insane" that he escapes from in the classic Batman #251 (S'73) instead of the Gotham prison system. The "Why?" is never answered as the Joker re-aligns his perception of reality from criminal to maniac.

Wow, the news actually followed the Spectre. Hope he gave them some good soundbites!

Green Arrow's new costume makes him look like Robin Hood more. Is it really a darker look or are they stretching a point?

Firestorm debuted a few years before the New Teen Titans.

The Charleton heroes have Judomaster (he's from WWII) and the original Captain Atom, not DC's shiny one.

The New Doom Patrol predates the NTT and Firestorm. Is Celsius back to being the Chief's real wife?

Chemo did switch from fighting the Metal Men to battling Superman. In  Superman #342 (D'79), it really was thrown into Earth-orbit though it returned in #370 (Ap'82).

(Though Superman's cape burning is very Post-Crisis!)

The New Robin: no one even tried to talk Batman out of it!

The Crisis: no real explanation to what's going on. If there was an Anti-Monitor, there had to be a Monitor!

The Marvel Family: someone really has to explain their timeline once and for all!

The Legion of Super-Heroes: why are they here? Is this a Crisis through time as it was originally? Thank God Bouncing Boy is here!

Hawkman: Could be Carter Hall or our Katar Hol! Same with Hawkwoman!

Johnny Quick: the present day one or the 1940s one, as in the original Crisis?

Air Wave II: Nice to see him again!

Wonder Woman: what is her fate, given the events that happen to her from the Crisis from a publishing standpoint.

Page 20, top right corner: Is that Supergirl? Our Supergirl, complete with 80s headband? No one noticed that!! Will this be explained?

Doctor Light II, Lady Quark and that whiner, Pariah are all there.

Ultra, the Multi-Alien: saves our narrator! Isn't he from the future, too? BTW, It's Ultra, Ultraa was the first hero of Earth Prime who latered annoyed the JLA.

We see the Justice Society, the Freedom Fighters, the Titans, the Outsiders, Infinity Inc but not JLA Detroit who are the JLA at this time!

There is no Barry-Flash. Is he still a prisoner of the Anti-Monitor? Remember he was captured for his experience of travelling through dimensions but that's not an issue anymore!

John Stewart is Green Lantern, which is accurate for this time period, even wearing the mask he had abandoned but that Harbinger insist he put on.
