It is a very, very beautiful book with an interesting premise. I hope he has some issues in the can as it's obvious that each one takes quite a while to do. So far, all we know is that it's about a girl in a future or alternate world were you can plug-in and actually inhabit a role-playing game with others.
It wasn't on the shelf on my shop yesterday. I asked Doug, the owner, if he had ordered copies. He said he had, but they were behind the counter. Um, was there "adult content" I asked. No, he said, it was that he had received at least 25 phone calls from people who weren't regular customers asking him to hold back multiple copies for them. He knew that these weren't readers, but ebay resellers, so he told them that he couldn't hold copies back unless they had preordered. He then decided to keep the copies behind the counter for his regular customers who asked for it.
He's a good guy, that Doug.
