I still love Empowered and in this issue she has some fun and we see some college flashbacks. The basic plot is that Emp is guarding an exhibit of cars used by superheroes from alternate timelines and a group of animal themed supervillains try to steal them. We get a nice flashback to Emp's college years where she details that just throwing a car at a supervillain is a waste. And she then demonstrates by using various parts of the cars as effective improvised weapons. Engine blocks, hoods, axles, wheels, doors... it's kinda fun and she only gets tied up once in this issue.
