According to the site, Haida Manga is a comic book art form inspired/originated by the Haida people, a Native American group that's based in Alaska and British Columbia.
Looking at some of the sites offered in the links section, many of the titles (understandably) remind me of the Seattle Seahawks logo and the other samplings I've seen of North Pacific native american art.
So my question to all: Has anyone else ever heard of these comics and/or this comic form?
And to Cavalier, in particular: Have you ever seen these, perhaps at a Cascadia-area convention? Have you ever talked to any of the creators?
