Sometimes I go for a comic just because of the title and the cover and this is one of them. Let's face it cats have secret lives and we'll never know what they are.
The cast is a mix of cats, superheroes and one cat alien if he is to believed. Cassiopeia is the main characters, her owners are Galaxy Man and his side kick (and unknown to him daughter) Cosmic Girl. They battle one set of supervillains while Cassiopeia and her group that consist of Midnight (who regards himself as 'The Claws of Justice'), Belle who smart, Rocket who says he's an alien, Rocco who's tough and Ace who's military battle other menaces, like evil Christmas toys, various bad guys who menace their owners and dinosaur skeletons and flying saucers with mechanical bees.
Cassiopeia is fairly certain that her owner and his daughter (who are Galaxy Man and Cosmic Girl) are up to something, but she's not sure what and she's not sure of the housekeeper either.
A bit pricey at 4.99 but the sort of comic you could give any kid and have fun with.

I almost picked this as a best bets, but I wanted to wait until I actually saw it before passing judgment. Kids comics are a bit tricky; sometimes writers write down to kids, and that stinks -- adults don't enjoy it, and kids can spot condescension a mile away. Sounds like this one might be a winner, though.
