Deadman has a brief confrontation with a drunk Constantine (who last issue not only ran out on all of them but got tossed out of the House of Mystery by the house itself) and flies off. Zatanna is trying to adjust to her new role as leader, something not helped by Constantine returning and beating everyone up. What she ever saw in that character is lost on me, really I think she'd be better with any demon. In short order he nearly drives Frank mad, nearly puts Orchid away too (they were both leaving anyway) and knocks out Nightmare Nurse and Deadman. Zee agrees to talk to him and he gives a bit of a sob story, hands her a plant and leaves. At a guess I'd say he put a spell on her too.
After he leaves Zatanna, Nurse and Deadman discuss the lack of strength and she summons Swamp Thing who isn't happy but that's interupted when Nightmare Nurse errupts in flame and when the flames subside someone named Alice Winter (who I think has been showing up in Nurse's reflection all through the issue) appears.
Not a bad set up issue and the art is very good. It's like Justice League United, a few reasons for me to stay with it but nothing spectacular yet.
