There's a convention going on north of the border and Marvel's been spilling some of their upcoming plans.

The current Alpha Flight title is being expanded from an 8-issue limited series to an ongoing.

The next CrossGen books will be Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Route 666.  KKBB will be written by Peter Milligan.  666 will be written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

  • I want more of the Crossgen books to come back, and be ongoings, not just copyright-securing minis. Ruse and Sigil did as well for me as most of Marvel's mid-list titles, and I've now sold 25 copies of Mystic #1. To put that in perspective, My top subscribed-to Marvel comic is Uncanny X-Force (and deservedly so!) at 22 subscribers.

  • I'll have to see what the proposals are behind KKBB and Route 666. The former's original version didn't interest me enough to buy at all and while I started R666, I quickly dropped it.
  • I would so buy more Ruse, Mystic and Sojourn if that happened!
