Omnibus, and other delights!

I notice that Marvel has announced the second volume of the Thor Omnibus due out this March.

The issues collected will include Journey into Mystery #121 through Thor #152 and a few assorted other featurettes, like NBE and other comedy parody.

Basically these are three Masterworks bundled together, but one of the best elements of the Omnibus, is the inclusion of all the letters pages from the original issues.  That's always of interest for me.

What other collections would be of interest for you?  Daredevil Omnibus  #1-30?  Submariner in the form of Tales to Astonish #70-101?  What do you want?

  • I recently bought Jack Kirby's Captain America Omnibus. It's really a beautiful book. I'd bought some Jack Kirby Omnibus editions from DC, but this is the first Marvel one I've ever owned. I'd also buy an Omnibus of Steranko's Nick Fury work.

  • Good choices, Sensei... but I'm not sure they would ever do a Steranko's Nick Fury...I'm not convinced that the Masterworks volumes sold... you haven't seen any paperback editions, have you?  There are about three masterworks out there, so that would be enough to combine into an Omnibus edition, for sure.

I hadn't realized they had packaged all Jack's Cap work into an Omnibus.  That must run TOS 60-100 and then Capt. America #101-113, right?  That would just about do it, I should think.
