Round Table Companies publishes world’s First Blog-Turned-Comic Book

Personal blog of entrepreneur and finance expert James Altucher featured in graphic novel

CHICAGORound Table Companies, a book packaging and publishing company that works with thought leaders to inform, educate and inspire readers, announces the first comic book adapted from a blog. “The Altucher Confidential: Ideas for a World Out of Balance,” is the world’s first blog-turned-graphic novel and features insights into the mind of James Altucher, author of several books on investing and writer of a widely read blog about his life and adventures with the same name.   The autobiographical comic book launches in bookstores nationwide, on Amazon.com, and in all digital formats on Dec. 16, 2011 for $12.95.

“The Altucher Confidential” comic book captures, condenses and illustrates 21 brutally honest stories pulled directly from Altucher’s blog posts.  Altucher reveals what it takes to be successful in business, investing, writing and life through anecdotes featured in his blog, including How I Screwed Yasser Arafat out of $2 million (and lost $100 million in the process), The One Reason Why Facebook is Worth $50 billion, and The Moment Before Abbey Road.

“Bringing my experiences to life in a comic book gave me the confidence to further expose my failures, losses and successes so that others can learn from them,” said James Altucher.  “In many cases, dismal failure can be actually more inspirational than blazing success. Partnering with Round Table Companies allowed me to distill these ideas and raw experiences into a visual and tongue-in-cheek format to reach new audiences.”

“James shares painstakingly honest moments in a way that many writers would typically shy away from,” said Round Table Companies CEO, Corey Michael Blake. “He has mastered the art of taking subjects that can be dull and infuses them with a brilliant and accessible brand of humor.  The comic’s illustrations truly evoke his personality and show others how they can find business success, while still having fun in life.”

Round Table Companies believes in the power of story to impact lives and brings others’ visions to life. For more information about the company, visit www.roundtablecompanies.com/, and for more about James Altucher, visit www.jamesaltucher.com.
