I keep telling everybody to watch the first season. It's on Netflix instant, or at least it was. I haven't checked in a while. Anyways, I think it's way better than the Downey films. Nobody seems to believe me though...
This morning, I read a short review/preview of the new series in which the author suggests that "Sherlock"'s Sherlock may owe a debt to "House"'s House. There's not the slightest hint that the writer has any idea just how gobsmackingly bass-ackward that observation is.
Yeah, other people could say it. But it's been a perennial Doctor line since at least Patrick Troughton. There's no way Moffat wasn't thinking that when he wrote it.

And we'll be watching!

I have heard a lot of good things about this series. Cannot wait to check it out for the first time on Sunday!
Sunday can't come soon enough!
It was AMAZING! I cannot emphasize enough how great this series is! This Irene Adler is...different but still The Woman!
Next week: "There were footprints by the body."
"Footprints? A man's or a woman's?"
"Mister Holmes, they were the footprints of a gigantic hound."
I watched the episode last night and loved it. I think it's actually gotten better. Holmes and Watson have excellent chemistry.
My brother watched it with me and loved it. I told him the first season is on Netflix, so he may actually watch it when he gets back from vacation.
Our Steven couldn't resist throwing a Dr Who line in there.
I liked the visual joke (well, more than just a joke, really) of having Holmes "scan" Adler and getting ... nothing.
Oops...I missed the Who line. What was it?
"When I say "run", RUN!"
