So? Has anyone read this yet? I have one, but haven't opened it up yet. I was wondering if anyone who is quicker on the draw with their comics reading has read it. I've read good things online about it. I know we have some Star Wars fans here in the Cave, so give your thoughts!

  • You probably could have read it yourself in the time it took to write that.

  • Is it that quick a read?

  • I haven't looked at it, so I don't know.  Now you're having an extended conversation instead of reading it.  :-p

  • I ordered it. I've been waiting for a Star Wars book that features the characters from the original movies. Though I am wondering how Disney buying Lucasfilms will affect the longevity of the title?

  • No, I had just gotten home and was sitting up at my computer when I was typing that. I knew if I went to sit down or lay down and read it, I would have fallen asleep straight away. And I did.

I'm just doing my part to try to get people talking about comic books around here! ;)

  • I read it and liked it a lot. The art was a little off to me, though. I love the work of Carlos D'Anda, and his people look fantastic, but the angles of the ships and stuff like that just threw me a little bit. As for the story, it does a great job of fleshing out Princess Leia's role within the rebellion (which I'd never thought about), Darth Vader's failure with the first Death Star, and Han Solo's discomfort with becoming a part of the rebellion.
